Join Museum of London on 4 September for a late night magic and mystery tour of the collections. The Museum of London say:

“Spend an evening gasping at the magical wonders of London street magician Pete Hathway and his award-wining trickery. Take a mystical tour of our galleries, and discover astonishing unseen objects from our collections, from sinister Roman curses to enchanting 18th century witch balls.

Throughout the night we will be playing a magical soundtrack of your choice! Why not suggest a song to be played at Londonist and see if you can win a night of complimentary drinks for you and a friend!”

Drinks are available at the foyer bar throughout the night and you can wander around the permanent collections as much as you like.

Sounds like fun.....

Crocosaurus Cove is a new theme park situated in Darwin Australia.

As a novelty, the park is offering to lower tourists into a water tank that contains a Choppa - that’s a 5 and half metre saltwater crocodile for the uneducated… It costs £55 and the catch for the Choppa is that there is 4cm of toughened acrylic between you and him. Umm, basically your a bait tease.....!

The locals aren’t best pleased with this, as there are fears that the Choppa is subjected to unnecessary stress.

Umm, you have to ask the question - why this sort of thing might be considered fun? Beyond me, but there you go.
