Matron is the ideal product to take on your travels if you want to stay well clear of some pretty nasty germs hanging around toilets and kitchens.  It comes in a very handy 50ml plastic travel bottle (under the 100ml flight threshold).

Originally designed for the British Transport Police, it’s a dual action spray so it works on door handles and toilet seats as well as directly on your hands. One application lasts pretty much all day (up to 6 hours) so you can go about your travels knowing you are totally germ free.

I’d really recommend any intrepid traveller packs a bottle in their backpack, and at £1.99 it’s gotta be worth it!
