Know Your Rate of Currency

If you want to check out your destinations currency, look no further than the very simple and easy to use currency converter on the BBC website.

It’s always helpful to get a picture of how bigger bang for your buck you’re going to get at your destination.

Plus, if your leaving the conversion until you get to the other end, it’s very important to have some idea of what a decent rate might be.

Conversion in foreign countries can be a complete minefield so be aware. My preference is to get some cash converted by my bank at home and then top that up with a non conversion tariff credit card, if need be.
