Eurochocolate Festival

Eurochocolate (18-26 October) promises a week of chocolate, choons and chomping in the beautiful medieval city of Perugia.

As well as tonnes of crafted chocolate, ranging from sculptures to pet products, the festival also offers music and competitions.

Stay nearby at the 18th century-style Villa di Monte Solare. A new member of the Small Luxury Hotels group, this hilltop haven has leafy gardens, two pools, a spa centre and a fine restaurant serving home-grown fare.

A week’s B&B costs £504 pp during October. Flights and car hire extra.
