An SOS to all keen cyclists - you look like utter muppets wearing those lycra, ball busting numbers. Think about it ladies and gentleman!!

Thank god for Paul Smith whose seen the light and decided to produce some clothes for cyclists that actually look as if they were designed by a human being. Alleluia!!!

The 531 range of cycling gear for men is sleek as it is cool i.e loose fitting jeans with leather straps - to replace the humble bicycle clip. T-shirts and shirts that button onto jeans to prevent flap flap. Other items include a Tweed cap and streamlined anorak!

There’s also this little number retailing for a cool £175:
