While perusing for summer break accommodation in England’s Devon countryside I found this quite incredible deal. We have subsequently decided to spend 3 weeks in Spain so won’t be taking this deal - but otherwise we would have snapped this up for ourselves!

Anyway, here’s the deal. Crooked Oak Cottage is being offered by Classic Cottages for one week from £152 pp (based on four sharing) - amazing value really.

The cottage is set within 15 acres of pasture, 20 acres of woodland and includes a swimming lake to explore. Sleeping four, this countryside cottage, with its own patio area overlooking the lovely gardens towards Dartmoor, is situated five miles from Holsworthy in North Devon.

Visit nearby RHS Garden Rosemoor and see the re-landscaped and re-planted Square Garden through a special walk on 16 July.
