If you’re a keen skier or snowboarder you’ll know how important it can be to have well fitted, reliable goggles. It can be a life saver, literally.

There can also be the added problems of switching between goggles and sunglasses to suit the weather conditions, which, as we all know can change dramatically at a minutes notice. All these problems can now be mitigated by the Elevation ClimaCool eyewear from Adidas.

These bad boys integrate some great new features which include:

• Quick change lens system for varying light conditions.

• ClimaCool ventilation system which helps prevent steaming up. This incorporates a strategically placed vent which perfectly regulates air flow and an anti fog lens coating.

• Quick release hinge allows the arms to disengage under certain levels of pressure which avoids permanent damage and enables the fixed arms to be changed to straps that provide a slightly snugger fit. Nice touch!

• A performance insert allows the wearer to put appropriate lenses into the frame. Great if you don’t want to wear contacts all the time.

Given all these features and new technology you would expect a hefty price tag. But surprisingly the Adidas Elevation ClimaCool eyewear retails for a very reasonable £128 ($220). A bargain when you consider that your getting goggles and sunglasses in the one purchase.
