For anybody visiting London, it might be worth checking out the new Megaro Bar, situated a short distance from St. Pancras station.
As a summer promotion, the bar is offering free strawberries and cream with any cocktail or champagne purchase.
General manager of Megaro Bar - Francisco Ventura is quoted as saying:
“Champagne and strawberries are a great British tradition at Wimbledon and what better way to kick start the Championships than great British strawberries & cream with an ice cold glass of Champagne, Pimms or your favourite cocktail.”
The Megaro Bar offers a range of tasty cocktails such as Mojito’s, Cosmopolitan’s and Shirley Temple’s.
Alternatively, if you fancy something a little different / spectacular you could pay a visit to the World’s Longest Champagne Bar at St Pancras.
If you’re in Dubai with a spare £3,750 ($7,500) you’ll be able to afford the Burj al Arab’s latest cocktail creation called the 27.321. Named for the cost in UAE dirham (27,321 AED which is about $7,500) the floor where the Skyview Bar is located (27th) and the height of the Burj Al Arab (321 meters).
The finished cocktail is made from Macallan 55 year old single malt natural color whisky, produced from dried fruit bitters that add to the whisky’s flavor, homemade passion fruit sugar and is then served over ice cubes made of water from the Macallan distillery in Scotland, along with an oak stirrer made from a Macallan Cask. The cocktail is then presented in a Baccarat 18-karat gold glass, which the lucky buyer gets to bag afterwards.
You might have to hurry though - only ten are going to be made.
