For someone who loves vocabulary this little device is a god send. Particularly as I spend most of my time on holiday reading, where it isn’t necessarily convenient to lug around a huge Oxford Concise dictionary. The other nice feature is that it works as a bookmark too. Genius!!

Vacation Gadgets say:

“Not only is it a 50,000 word dictionary, a programmable alarm clock and calculator- its ultra slim design allows it to be utilized as a BOOKMARK! It conveniently fits neatly into any hardcover or paperback book. The Bookmark Dictionary is your personal vocabulary assistant. Perfect for students and professionals. Lithium battery included.”

Fishing on holiday is great fun for kids and adults alike and there’s always the chance you might be able to BBQ your catch too!

However, it can be a bit tricky hauling round all your rods, reels etc. If your willing to compromise on size and quality you might want to consider this excellent fishing set. Having used a telescopic rod in New Zealand I can testify to their effectiveness for amateur fisherman. Admittedly, your not going to be able to use it for big game sport fishing! But it does offer a very compact and convenient opportunity to dip your tackle in the water!

Vacation Gadgets say:

“A complete fishing kit for your little fisherman. The kit includes a Tackle Box, 130 piece Fishing Kit, Telescoping Rod, Dual Action Reel and a Fishing Vest & Cap. Comes complete in a clamshell packaging.”
