I am a big fan of actually getting to grips with the food we eat. Just unwrapping the packaging on a piece of steak or fish and dropping it into the frying pan is all to easy. How many of us go squeamish at the thought of killing and gutting a fish but are perfectly happy to gobble down a Dover Sole without a second thought?

Prince William and Kate Middleton are apparently enjoying the delights of the exclusive Desroches Island Resort in the Seychelles. You can hardly blame them with Summer 2007 a complete wash out in the UK.

Desroches Island is simply idyllic, boasting only a very small number of bungalows set within sun drenched gardens.

The resorts is set on the edge of a white sandy beach just one hour flight from Mahe. Its 20 well appointed junior suites, arranged ten on either side of the central restaurant, bar and lounge area and are connected by a covered walkway.
